PhD Program

The department also enrolls students for a PhD degree in Electronics. The faculty in the department currently includes Professors and Assistant Professors. Each faculty member manages and runs his/ her laboratory independently where research is carried out in different areas of basic and applied Electronics. The faculty members have national as well as international collaborations to leverage the scientific advantage and develop mutually beneficial scientific interactions. For Ph.D. course in Electronics, number of students admitted every year is variable. As and when candidate is available, is admitted according to availability of seat with the desired faculty according to subject of interest to the candidate.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

Student should be M.Sc./M.Tech in Electronics/Physics from University recognized by UGC. Students should be have scored at least 58% at M.Sc. level.
Student should have financial support either through NET or any other source. For Ph.D. course in Electronics, number of students admitted every year is variable. The admission to PhD program in University of Delhi is governed by rules notified under Ordinance VI-B. The details are available on University website here (DOWNLOAD)
