Microwave Integrated Circuit Lab
In M.Tech III semester, each student design and simulate a microwave planar passive component like patch antenna, filter, coupler and power divider in 3D electromagnetic simulation tools like CST Microwave Studio etc. Students independently work as a team and modify a design structure to improve the component characteristics. A fully optimized component is then fabricated and tested by the student. In this way, they develop the designer skills for Microwave components. Major Project (Six Month Duration)
M.Tech IV semester students are sent for a 6 months project to reputed R&D organizations and this is also a part of the curriculum. Experts from outside Department are invited and students give presentations for which they are graded.
